The Green Rooms is one of South Wales' newest and most underground venues. We pride ourselves on bringing South Wales some of the best metal bands around and supporting the local scene. "Aeon Promotions is joining forces with Mine Host Promotions in order to showcase an excellent array of artists, promotional tools and fan-bases for Metal 2 the Masses – Battle for Bloodstock 2011.
Aeon Promotions currently showcases some of the most influential bands in the Extreme Metal scene, having worked with the likes of Nile, Akercocke and Vader in the last year. They have also hosted local concerts in the Hampshire area.
Mine Host Promotions is currently the driving force behind Winchester’s metal scene, having promoted shows for some of the UK’s finest rising talent such as Sylosis and Trigger The Bloodshed. In addition to this, they have been giving local, unsigned acts the opportunity to play alongside these leading underground artists - to help local Hampshire metal acts breakthrough to the national scene.

An eight year partnership between Bloodstock and Unified Sounds have seen us there every year and with 3 Metal 2 The Masses under our belts, it means we have given 12 bands over the past few years, the Gig of their lives . Our intention is to build better opportunities and give the bands a better platform to push their music beyond local boundaries and intensify the ambition of those bands who strive to be noticed.
Using recognised venues such as Essex - The Fat Surfer, the Barhouse - Kent - The Bull n Vic, The Beaconcourt Tavern, The Beer cart Arms and Brighton’s very own Hydrant, this initiative promises to continue where it left off.
“I'm not trying to be over dramatic, but Metal to the Masses 2010 was a life changing experience for me, and the whole of Splintered Soul. We are so grateful to both Unified Sounds, Simon Hall of Bloodstock, everyone involved and everyone who voted for us for giving us the chance of a lifetime.
