Metal 2 the Masses

The Canterbury venue "The Maidens Head" will be hosting heats and semi finals and is a 100 capacity venue with the bands from the semis who go through going to the final in Gravesend. The Red Lion in Gravesend will be hosting Heats, Semi Final and the final itself on May 1st, which will consist of bands who have gone through from Canterbury and Gravesend.

200 capacity venue situated in a busy pedestrian thoroughfare of Belfast. Popular with the rock and metal community, and host a number of metal and heavy rck shows since it opened. These include Conan, Bloodshot Dawn, Scar Symmetry, Beholder and By Any Means.

SANDNES ROCKEKLUBB “TRIBUTE” has a main goal to find new bands and give them a stage to play on, we work on a voluntary basis and have approximately 55 shows a year with mostly bands in the metal/hard rock family. We are very pleased to be part of the M2TM and tying bonds over to the UK.

MONSTA / STC are very proud to once again be hosting the METAL TO THE MASSES COMPETITION for London for 2016. As you will probably be aware our 2014 completion was praised by all and produced two winners who went on to play the New Blood Stage at B.OA 2015. This purpose built venue now under new (metal minded) management will be an excellent host to the unique atmosphere that surrounds M2TM LDN 2016.

Club Rock Carlisle is Cumbria’s premier alternative music venue, situated in the capital of the Lake District. With regular live music and events tailored to all aspects of rock and metal.

Madhatter’s music venue situated above Hootananny Ceilidh Bar in Inverness’ city centre. The venue holds 100 people, has a purpose built stage with PA, five monitors including drumfill, venue lighting and adjacent FOH position for engineers.

Castle Live with The Castle Tavern provides Luton and the surrounding area with great bands, great sound and a great atmosphere. We bring music to our masses and so are proud to bring Metal 2 The Masses with our 4th year of being part of this great international opportunity to play at Bloodstock Festival. We support our local music and know that Bloodstock does too.

The Victoria has hosted all kinds of gigs over the years. In the last year they've played host to Dredded Vyrus Promotion on a monthly basis, supporting just the finest in underground metal acts in the UK. Now it's Swindon's time to show the country what it's made of! METAL!

Perfect place for metalers well known in south Poland as a one of the best clubs for metal and rock concerts. It will be great opportunity for local bands to have chance play Bloodstock Festival.

RFTK Promotions formed in 2006 with the purpose of bringing bands to Newcastle that would not otherwise play (we’ve all been there “My favourite band is touring and they’re not playing here – this sucks”) well – we set out to do something about it – and, nearly 200 gigs later – I think we’ve made a good impression. Bands of all shapes and sizes from Sebastian Bach to small pub bands – and across many genres : Goth, Industrial, Glam, Classic bands, new up and coming bands.

In 2005 Sanctuary was born, using their alternative super powers, Rob and Lisa, dedicated their lives to making the most awesome rock venue in the North West and have succeeded! Sanctuary compromises of three floors playing the best Rock, Metal, Reggae, Ska, Alternative, Electro, Indie, Punk, theme tunes and Party Anthems. We host local, tribute, cover and internationally renounced bands every Friday and Saturday night. We also have club nights, quiz nights and our very own Sanctuary pool team! Every Sunday our quizmaster, Arron Riley hosts Sanctuary’s ‘Quiz on your face’ the ultimate geeky quiz full of fun and games, bonus and music rounds. It’s free to play, and there is a Gallon of beer to be won! if that’s not enough, we have a £100 jackpot to win in Deal or no deal each week! We also have a Sanctuary pool team that play every Monday! For the quaffers amongst us, we’ve got an awesome range of beers, ales, ciders and spirits, a whole menu of crazy bombs and lots of deals and offers and, of course, no night is complete without a random stranger doing a head count and buying a round of Cherry Bakewell shots for everyone at the bar. From the first floor, where you can catch up with friends, sit down, relax, play a round of pool and have a few pints, to the second floor, where you can pump your fists, Party Hard and see the best Live music gigs to the third floor where you can catch your breath in peace and chat, Sanctuary has you covered. Sanctuary is getting bigger and bigger, with some exciting events planned for 2014 and 2015 so come down, have a beer and lets party!
