February 2008 saw the release of the band’s debut album “Through The Gates of Hell” with reviews from national magazines Rock Sound, Kerrang, Powerplay and Zero Tolerance. Planet Thrash named the album ‘Featured Album of the Month.’ Live TV performances on Red TV and Cue Tracks soon followed in support of the release, and in 2008 they featured on Get Ready to Rock’s ‘Rising stars iTunes podcast’ who claimed Primitai were ‘definitely ones to watch.’
