Bursting out of the underground like a solar flare, Sacred Illusion have come to put British metal back on the map with their startling debut, the slick and unforgettable 'Slave New World', a rocket ride of intelligent and anthemic melodic metal that’ll have you reaching for the air guitar in no time!
Mixing the command and spirit of 80s Heavy Metal (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, DIO) with the speed and intensity of modern Power Metal (Helloween, Edguy, Iced Earth) - Combining harmonic leads, melodic riffs, stylish synths and powerhouse drumming this young quartet of 20-somethings from the North of England run through ten foot-tapping stompers such as the celeritous opener “Alive Tonight” and the fist-pumping “Fool’s Paradise” whilst steering the latter material of 'Slave New World' towards progressive epic masterpieces such as ‘Egypt Rising’ and ‘Oceans of Light’. Sacred Illusion have more up their sleeves than a lot of bands on the continent, breaking out some catchy and memorable refrains, hammering guitar work, impressive solos, and of course, clean soaring vocals.
