Band Line Up 2023
Square Wild, often described as an injection of energy, are
an intoxicating genre-bending 4 piece from Manchester. They’re winners of Prog
Magazines Best Unsigned Band 2022, with Lucy placing in the top 10 Female
Vocalist Category, winning Best Rock Band for KDS Promotions and Manchester
M2TM winners 2023, they are proving they're not to be missed, dominating more
than one underground scene.
Although usually labelled as Rock, their style is not one to be pigeon-holed as they have a huge mixing pot of influences. From reggae to metal, funk to gypsy jazz, blues to folk, Square Wild will get a multitude of audiences moving. The mixture of Tomo’s danceable beats fronted by the force of nature that is Lucy wooing the crowd in true punk style, creates nothing short of an entertaining-shape-throwing fusion of festivities. Playing Bloodstock was something we thought was so out of reach for a band like us. We can't believe we get to play at the same festival as such prolific artists and share the stage with crazy talent. We cannot wait for this, we want to thank Simon Hall for this incredible opportunity and we will make sure you get to see the best set we can do.
