Band Line Up 2023

Crawling out of the abandoned coal mines of County Durham, comes a band that brings carnage to every venue they play!   SWARMS!   Combining fat riffs with heavy breakdowns, groove and a dash of humour! Swarms are guaranteed to make you bang your head and practice karate in the pit!

Aiming for an October release we're currently working on our first full EP release titled "COALDUST", we can't wait to unveil what we've been working on and bring the chugs to venues all over the UK! 

Firstly, we'd like to thank all of the people who turned up for every single round of this competition! You are the beating heart of the northeast metal scene, and it was beating relentlessly last night! Thankyou! 

We're so grateful for the opportunity! It's a really good feeling when all of the hard work we've put in with rehearsal, writing new material and creating a show actually pays off!.... Also putting up with each other’s farts in the practice room wasn't all for nothing! 

Finally, we'd like to shout thank each band that played in the competition. Every single one of you crushed it this year! Undoubtedly, the toughest m2tm Trillians has ever seen! 

Your collective talent pushed us to our limits! Genuinely a pleasure to share the stage with you all! 

We've made some good friends through this competition, and we can't wait to cheer you guys on at your next gigs coming up!
