Band Line Up 2015

Blackened Ritual are an original hard hitting heavy metal act hailing from the small town of Perth, Scotland. A band for any true metal fan Blackened Ritual will bring the power, passion and intensity that metal demands.

Formed late 2008, the band began as a three piece instrumental act featuring David Francis on drums, Andy Muller on guitar and Andy Clowry on bass. From the start they were determined to make an impact on the local metal scene. While performing several shows with some of Scotland's finest acts the band decided a second guitarist would develop their sound, in late November 2009 this became a reality with the addition of long term friend and accomplished guitar player Allan Chatila. 

2010 proved to be a successful year for the band as they gained the experience and built a following that remains strong to this day.  This was solidified when the band reached the final of the Clearwater battle of the bands 2010/11.

The following year the band decided to take a break from instrumental music and live performances to complete their line up. After months of auditions with many reputable vocalists the band struggled to find their final member.

After a short creative break the band reformed stronger with the addition of ex-Anthrocite vocalist Tom Simpson who's impact on the band was felt immediately.

This summer they will support the release of their debut self titled album with a mini tour around Scotland. 

We are extremely thrilled to have been given the opportunity to play Bloodstock. 

So many legendary bands have graced the stages over the years, and we are proud to become a part of it’s legacy.
