'ONSLAUGHT was put together in Bristol, England by guitarist Nige Rockett and drummer Steve Grice in the early '80s. The two musicians were working to forge an ultra-aggressive, speedy metal sound that was becoming more and more popular in the days of early Slayer and Metallica. In 1985 the band launched their first album 'Power From Hell' which became an instant classic followed a year later by Sy Keeler's debut album 'The Force' which proved even more popular.

After several line up changes and the release of 'In Search Of Sanity' in 1989 , the band decided to call it a day in January 1991 but eventually reunited in 2005 releasing their critically acclaimed comeback album 'Killing Peace'. This was quickly followed by the 'Live Polish Assault' DVD and the 'Live Damnation' CD. In 2011 Onslaught released a new studio album 'Sounds Of Violence' which again proved popular amongst critics and fans alike. With the strongest line up to date Onslaught is now made up of Sy Keeler (singer / Mirror Mirror), Nige Rockett (guitars / Frankenstein, Power Junkies), Andy Rosser-Davies (guitars), Jeff Williams (bass / Power Junkies) and Michael Hourihan (drums / Desecration, ex-Parricide, ex-Extreme Noise Terror). Their latest release "VI"(2013) is without doubt their fastest and most aggressive recording to date.
