Band Line Up 2015

From Eden To Exile are a fresh up and coming band hailing from the Midlands, looking to write intense music with freedom, without "genre" boundaries and ultimately music that sounds good!!

With all members having such a wide range of influences and ideas, F.E.T.E has a unique sound that is a breath of fresh air to the "Metal" genre.

After releasing their first single "Pure Love" back in 2012 the band has evolved and refined their style and sound. The band prides itself on live performance over everything and with that in mind the band took its time before releasing their debut 5 track E.P. "Soundtrack To Your Demise" in early 2015. Since the release their has been a great response from the local scene and many doors have opened in quick succesion.

The E.P. along with a killer T-Shirt design has given the band an even wider platform to get out there and continue to impress.

They are a band with no limits when it comes to writing music, or where they look to go in the future. They are ready to take on anything that comes their way!

When we first entered the Metal to the Masses competition we could have never envisaged how much influence the competition would have on us. Not only have we won and been given the opportunity of a life time but we have developed and grown as a unit from the very first heat. The band has learned so much in such a short amount of time and the credit has to all go to the promotion teams hosting the events and the people at Bloodstock for giving bands like us an amazing platform and opportunity.

As we progressed through each round we couldn't believe the gain in fan base and how a band like us could be part of such amazing events. We literally had to pinch ourselves as the possibility edged towards reality!  The organization and professionalism from the promoters and the venues really opened our eyes and being surrounded by such passionate people really rubbed off onto us and we took it upon ourselves to give it everything we had. We were honoured to play with some really great bands and on such a great stage with amazing sound night after night and we feel so overwhelmed and lucky to have gone all the way.

The competition is like no other anywhere in the world. The passion shared by bands and crowds alike is truly something to behold. The scale of the opportunity that is on offer to fresh and unheard bands is colossal and for such a big festival to organise and give such opportunities to the small local bands shows why Bloodstock is one of the best in the world in our opinion. Other festivals should definitely take note of what Bloodstock is giving to the scene at grass roots level! The competition and pressure is fierce but we can personally say that we loved every single moment and are over the moon to be playing at the legendary festival itself. Just to play in front of Simon Hall and have him nodding along was a privilege in itself and we can't thank him and the whole Bloodstock organization enough for making this dream come true.

As if playing at the festival wasn't enough, off the back of our success in the final we got a spot on an online radio show and an endorsement offer the very next day. Such is the power of the competition and Bloodstock Festival!

Looking ahead to the big day, we plan to really focus on our live performance and give even more than we have ever given before. Bloodstock has given us a dream opportunity and we will most certainly grab it by the balls! We will practice harder, play harder and promise to deliver a set that we and the crowd won't forget!
